walked the aisles in recent years, along with their original sketches
and renderings. The entire design process is a wonderful, inspiring
collaboration between client and designer, where small ideas blossom
into bold fashion statements.

The "Marion": A flowing wedding
dress from the end of the Edwardian era, around 1912. Bodice
and underskirt of double-faced silk satin, toped by a overblouse
and skirt panel of rose-embroidered lace. |

The "Juliet": a wedding ensemble
in the style of the Italian
Renaissance, circa 1490. Included a cotton and lace chemise,
Renaissance-era coutil corset, embroidered silk dupioni skirts
and boned bodice, detachable sleeves, and hanging embroidered
lace oversleeves. |

The "Laurie": a wedding dress
in the style of 1930's evening wear.
Bias-cut spaghetti-strapped gown made in double-faced silk satin,
and fully lined in china silk. |

The "Elizabeth": a wedding dress
in the style of the English Regency, circa 1810. Empire-waisted
gown in ivory silk dupioni featured a surplice
bodice, highlighted in silver beadwork, sheer silk georgette
sleeves,
chapel-length trained skirt with georgette and beaded insets,
and all-over hand-stitched seed pearls. |
